Four Paws of Hope
Dedicated to improving the lives of animals.
About Four Paws of Hope
At Four Paws of Hope, we believe every pet deserves a chance at a happy, healthy life. Based in Hernando County, Florida, our 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue is dedicated to making a lasting difference for animals and the people who love them.
Our mission is simple yet powerful: to keep pets out of overcrowded shelters, reduce euthanasia rates, and create forever families through compassion, education, and action.
We offer a wide range of animal welfare services, including:
Spay & Neuter Clinics – Preventing unwanted litters and reducing shelter overcrowding.
Emergency Veterinary Care – Helping pets receive lifesaving surgeries and urgent medical treatment.
Microchipping Services – Giving pets a permanent ID to ensure they make it home if lost.
Foster-to-Forever Program – Allowing pets to stay in their current homes while we carefully vet adopters to find the perfect match.
Every adoption, donation, and volunteer hour brings us closer to a future where no animal is abandoned, neglected, or left behind.
Whether you're looking to adopt a pet, become a foster parent, volunteer your time, or support our lifesaving work with a donation, you are part of the solution. Together, we can change lives—one paw at a time.
Join us in building a stronger, kinder community for animals and the families who love them.

Foster to Forever Program
Our Foster-to-Forever Program helps pets stay safe and loved while they transition to their new forever homes.
Instead of surrendering pets to overcrowded shelters, owners act as temporary fosters while we carefully vet adopters.
This keeps pets comfortable and out of high-risk environments. -

Endurance Races for a Cause
We turn miles into meaningful change. Four Paws of Hope participates in major endurance events—including marathons, half-marathons, and 5Ks—to raise funds for animal rescue, medical care, and adoption programs.
Join our team, run for a purpose, and help us save lives one step at a time. -
